Tampura sound samples are available in AIFF 24 bits, 88200 Hz et 44100 Hz. Included :

You'll find here the new sound samples for the shruti. All notes recorded are AIFF 24 bits, 48000 Hz format. It's accordion, bandoneon and old church harmonium recordings.
Thoses Sound samples are provided within an installation software, which will install then right in the proper place in Tampura Generator (Sound Samples folder). They must be here if you want to use the Quick Tuning feature.
4 accordions samples are included in the Tampura Generator installer, which may be used for the demo version.
Notice about those samples tuning :
Our accordion, bandoneon and harmonium are old instruments (very old harmonium...), so their tuning is not based on anything like A440Hz, ... You’ll have to tune the notes according to your needs within Tampura Generator. A few madhyam and pancham tuning are provided for each instrument (Quick Tuning in the shruti).
The accordion is playing only one blade by note, so the harmonics are perfectly in tune. It is recommended to use it in order to tune a shruti.
The bandoneon and harmonium are playing several blades by notes, so some harmonics are not perfectly in tune. We selected the best samples. It is not perfect, but the sound is so beautiful and warm that we decided to distribute them.
Samples in 88200 Hz are producing very good sound quality when you change the pitch, but the computer is more loaded. If you need to run other software along with Tampura Generator, you may use the samples in 44100 Hz which are still producing a quite good sound. These samples have been recorded at 88200 Hz. The tampura software presets will automatically use 88200 Hz samples once you install them.
